From September 3rd to 5th September 2021 Hunterston will be the scene of the coming together of many Hunters from around the world. This international gathering will be very special, as plans for our new Clan Hunter Centre will be launched.
Book early to secure your place as numbers are limited for some events.
Global Clan Hunter International Gathering
Saturday 4th September
11am till 4pm
Join Madam Pauline and Honoured Guests at the Clan Hunter stand at the Largs Viking Festival (www.largsvikingfestival.org). You will be able to see how the Vikings, who were the ancient enemy of Clan Hunter lived at the time of the Battle of Largs, 1263.
Shop Open at Hunterston Castle from 11am till 4pm
Evening
Clan Dinner 7 pm for 7.30 pm

A three Course Dinner with a local band to play for us. Madam Pauline and Honoured Guests will be ushered in by the Piper. Menus will be available here nearer the time, but you can still book your place for the dinner

11am till 4pm
Visit Hunterston Castle with a tour given by Madam Pauline. Numbers may be restricted so book early. Visit our Clan Hunter Shop and buy the perfect gift featuring our own unique tartan. Plus, the building plans for our new Clan Hunter Centre will be on view. Leave comments and tell us what you think. You can even sponsor a room. In the past Hunters were expert huntsmen. To commemorate this from midday you can try your hand at Archery with the Ancient Society of Kilwinning Archers.
Evening
Meet up at Seamill Hydro Hotel 7pm. Madam Pauline, Clan Chief and Graham, Macer Venatorus.
Venatorus with our Honoured Guests, will be in the Aura Room at the Seamill Hydro Hotel, if you wish to join us for a chat. The Seamill Hydro Hotel is three miles south of Hunterston Castle.

Watch the expert archery of the Ancient Society of Kilwinning Archers competing in the field in front of Hunterston House.

Please check our accessibility page before you come: as a historic monument access is limited to the Castle. You can find out about our local area and directions for travel. Fees for a tour are £10 per adult and children of 10 and under go free. Please note that visits must be booked and paid in advance. Please also note there are limited parking places at the Castle. Please book a spot ahead.
