Welcome to our Clan Hunter International Gathering 2024.
Our team of tour guides is very well informed and aim to make your tour of Hunterston Castle unforgettable. Dressed in medieval costume, they will take you back through the ages and highlight events and name the Lairds that have helped shape our clan.
Clan Hunter International Gathering 2022
This year our Gathering Team have put together a fun-packed programme. Whether it is informing you about our genealogy project or whether you would like to make a helmet to help defend yourself against those fighting Vikings, there will be something for everybody to enjoy.
Together with our caterers, the Gathering Team have selected some mouth-
watering menus for the meals that will be served during this weekend.

We are very much looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new. Our Clan Hunter International Gatherings are a perfect opportunity to meet up with Hunter cousins from all over the globe and share your family histories.
Please check our accessibility page before you come: as a historic monument access is limited to the Castle. You can find out about our local area and directions for travel. Please note that visits must be booked and paid in advance. Please also note there are limited parking places at the Castle. Please book a spot ahead.
