Becoming A Member of
Clan Hunter
Thank you for your interest in Clan Hunter.
Our global Clan community is proudly represented across many countries, reflecting the strength and reach of the Hunter diaspora worldwide.
Membership is open to all those who bear the Hunter surname, have Hunter ancestry, or simply wish to support the values and traditions of Clan Hunter. Our Clan Chief warmly welcomes all who share our commitment to the principles of Stewardship, Connectivity, Inclusion, and Legacy.
Our Purpose
Clan Hunter exists to foster pride in the Hunter heritage and loyalty to our Clan Chief, while preserving and celebrating the rich history of our Clan.
The Clan Society actively supports the preservation of Hunterston Castle, which remains in family ownership to this day. Members are encouraged to visit the Castle and take part in annual gatherings, with larger international Clan events held there every two to three years.
