Application for membership is open to all persons born with the surname Hunter and those with Hunter ancestry. We have a Link of Friendship for anyone with no Hunter ancestry that cares about preserving Hunterston Castle.

Membership payment £22 Annual Subscription £12 - Addition Certificate £5

Please complete this application form, when we receive the completed form with payment we will send your Membership/Friendship pack.

The membership pack is made of:
Membership/Friendship Certificate. Each one is personally signed by the Clan Chief.
Certificate with permissions to use the Clan Crest. A digital version will be sent to you also.
Hunterston Castle booklet with a history of Hunterston Castle and the Hunters of Hunterston family.
Clan Hunter tartan ribbon, Clan Grace and Clan Warcry.

OPENING TIMES AND ACCESS

Acccess to Hunterston Castle is strictly by appointment. Note that as a historic monument, wheel chair access is limited. More visitor information is available on our visitors page .  Please email us to arrange a visit.
