Accessibility
Please note that Hunterston Castle is a historic A listed ancient building. As a consequence, there are many areas within the Castle where accessibility is an issue for visitors using a wheelchair or with limited mobility.
Naturally the Castle and its setting can be viewed from outside, where accessibility is much easier.
A tarmac driveway gives access to Hunterston Castle and its grounds: care must be taken by wheelchair users as this access is used by road vehicles. There is parking for 7 cars: please note that a visit and a parking space must be booked ahead of time.
