Hunter Quaich

The Quaich (from the Gaelic CUACH - cup), is the traditional Scots drinking vessel for whisky; its distinctive style of a shallow bowl and shapely 'lugs' dates from medieval times. Originally from wood-staved construction, the finest examples were embellished with a disc inscribed with such appropriate gaelic toasts as 'Slainth Math'.

The Hunter Quaich is made of wood and pewter with the Hunter Crest in the centre of the bowl.
